The snow pack in the sierras has been solidified substantially in the past 2 weeks with near record high temperatures. Meanwhile jackson hole is getting over 50 inches of snow in the past few days. I think it maybe time for a road trip!The average temperature for Truckee in January is 40 degrees F. Now this week we are looking at 50+ degrees. That's biking weather! This is a La Nina year, and generally Northern California is on the very very bottom of any La Nina effects. This year is not an exception. However, I wish it was snowing. I just love those powder days ;).
