It was a stormy day at Alpine Meadows. This was by far the thickest wind packed snow I have ever skied. I thought my gear was broken the first couple runs. Your skis would get pulled this way and that as you drifted down the run. However, I figured it out! It was all about keeping your speed up! I love to ski fast, so it turned out to be a great day. There's nothing like early season light on the feet with low visibility. |
